Episode 1: Renji, Oath of the Soul! Death Match with Byakuya (s03e01)

Plot Summary: As time runs out, Renji runs toward the site of Rukia execution hoping to save her. He is stopped by Byakuya Kuchiki, his captain and Rukia's brother. Byakuya refuses to let him pass and attacks. During the fight Renji releases his Bankai; but will it be enough to defeat Byakuya?

Episode 2: Ichimaru Gin's Temptation, Resolution of Destruction (s03e02)

Plot Summary: Kenpachi Zaraki is still fighting with Captain Tousen and Captain Komamura. Tousen asks Komamura to step aside so he can fight Kenpachi by himself. Tousen immediately initiates his Bankai surrounding himself and Kenpachi in a gigantic black sphere where only Tousen has use of his senses. Can Kenpachi win this fight even though he cannot rely on his senses?

Episode 4: The Strongest Shinigami! Ultimate confrontation between teacher and student (s03e04)

Plot Summary: While fighting with Ichigo, Captain Byakuya Kuchiki asks him why he wants to save Rukia. Ichigo responds by asking Byakuya why he won't save her himself.

Later, after running away from the execution area, Jushiro Ukitake, 13th division captain, and Shunsui Kyouraku, 8th division captain, prepare to face off against the Commander of the Gotei 13, Genryuusai Yamamoto. Upset because the others have betrayed him, Yamamoto releases his Soul Slayer and begins his attack.

Episode 6: One thousand cherry blossoms, crushed! Zangetsu thrusts through the sky (s03e06)

Plot Summary: While they are still fighting Soi Fong asks Yoruichi how she is still so powerful. This invokes a flashback showing how Soi Fong and Yoruichi first met and became close friends. Then, in the flashback, Yoruichi disappeared without telling Soi Fong anything, leaving her feeling betrayed. Meanwhile, the battle between Ichigo and Captain Kuchiki Byakuya of the 6th division continues. While fighting, Ichigo uses a new technique with his soul slayer called: Getsuga Tenshō.
